Report from the ICT Breakfast: AI a Knowledge Work Automation, 18. 9. 2024

Last week, we organized an ICT breakfast at our company on the topic of AI and Knowledge Work Automation. The event was focused on the use of artificial intelligence in the corporate environment and how the automation of corporate processes can help knowledge workers make their work faster and more efficient.

Our guests enjoyed fresh orange juice, good coffee and refreshments combined with interesting information and demonstrations. You can find out how the event took place in our report!

ICT Breakfast: AI a Knowledge Work Automation, 18. 9. 2024, Prague

Jan Sedláček, Chairman of the Board of Digital Resources a.s., gave the opening speech. He introduced the guests to who knowledge workers are, what their role is and what challenges we may encounter in the field of knowledge work. He also presented cases related to the reckless use of artificial intelligence.

Jakub Kiml, senior consultant of the M-Files system, presented the basic functions and benefits of this system and explained why M-Files is the leading platform for knowledge work automation and how automation makes daily tasks easier for workers. He also showed DMS-IN.CLOUD – the cloud version of M-Files.

Jan Sedláček then outlined to the guests the main elements of successful generative AI and what the differences are between the use of artificial intelligence for private and corporate purposes. Jakub Kiml continued by presenting M-Files Aino – artificial intelligence built directly into the system – and its new functions. This was followed by a live demonstration of the M-Files system and the use of M-Files Aino in practice.

Up next was a presentation and a live demonstration of M-Files Ment – ​​a tool for easy document automation. This was led by IT specialist Daniel Hanek. He presented the main advantages of this tool and illustrated its use in the generation of complex documents.

Finally, Matěj Zavadil, IT specialist, showed the CRM system Intuo – Company Intelligence, which can be another useful tool for automating processes related to knowledge work – we also briefly demonstrated this in a short demo of the system.

At the end there was an interesting discussion and also a raffle for valuable gifts. Congratulations to all winners!
